On our way we took highway 95 south of Boulder City. This allowed us to get to the California border to take a picture. So yes - we can say we were in California!! Granted we just turned around in California, but we were there!!!
Once we were on the Interstate we were flying!! We did make a detour stop on Route 66. It was a cute little town that we saw, and now we can say we got our kicks on Route 66!
Proof that YDS has to buck the system!
