Stay Gold...
This is a picture that I took of our oldest son. I loved the way the sunset had added a glow to his face, but I didn't realize how striking it was until I looked at it on the computer. It made me think of the poem "Nothing Gold can Stay" by Robert Frost.
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaves a flower,
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to greif.
Dawn goes down to day,
Nothing gold can stay.
