One class almost done!
It is getting down to the wire on my first Graduate class; I take one a month. It is a fast paced program, but I will be happy to get it done in just over a year. I have enjoyed my first class (it deals with everything to do with computers); I have finished all 8 quizzes, my mid-term, and four of the eight papers I have to write. I am going to work on the papers the rest of this week, then study for my final & finish my teacher portfolio next week. My final in on the 6th of October, then my next class starts on October 7th! Talk about a fast turn around.
My next class is Psychology! I love classes like that!! Well - we will see how much I love it by the end of October! :)

Sunday Football
We have spent the last few weeks going to football games every Sunday afternoon. ODS has been so excited about playing football again! He has had his name said over the PA system about 30 times so far this year! It seems so strange to hear someone else say your son's name - BUT how exciting it is! He looks so grow up - he truly is groing up too fast!

Saturday Football Fun
We had a family reunion today, but before our day got started we had to check the rain gage. A terrible storm ripped through our area last night and we ended up with 5 1/2 inches of rain!
At the reunion Grandpa had a great moment with little girl! And then the boys had to have a little backyard football before the start of the Nebraska game. They had some great runs - can't say the same thing for Nebraska!

A Day of Reflection
"Change"
Shaken to the core
Stirred by emotions.
Gasps turned
To silence unbroken.
All watched the worst in humanity
Try to destroy a nation.
The evil serpent reared its head
Striking to break our spirits.
Dust settling on that tragic day
Showed the world the best in us.
We grew in multitudes
To help our brethren;
Everyone is equal.
Bruised, not battered.
Shocked, not beaten.
America survives with faith and hope,
Knowing tomorrow will change,
But never be forgotten.

Talk about intense!
So I have started my Graduate studies classes for my Curriculum and Instruction Masters through PSC, and it is intense! I have one class a month, which doesn't sound bad; however, that means my mid-terms are 2 weeks intot he class, and the finals are in four weeks! For this week I have 2 papers due, 2 online worksheets due, and I need to take 2 quizzes on top of read 3 chapters! Some how I am getting the feeling that I am not going to have much of a life for about 15 months!
