Spring...

Well spring is right around the corner! I love Spring - things come alive and the beauty of all the flowers - AMAZING! I have a bleeding heart that blooms so beautifully every year! That was one of my Grandmother's favorite flowers - so since she is gone, this is my way of holding on. I have many flowers planted around my house that remend me of her in every season. Hopefully one day my Grandchildren will think upon me so kindly.

Beauty is all around us - somethimes we need to stop and notice all the glorious splendor that is present.

Kindess

I was scrapping a picture of my son the other day - when I decided to ask him to write down some journaling for the LO. He went on his merry little way and came back about 5 minutes later. "Here mom."

I told him to put it down, and that I would look it over later. About 30 minutes later I was ready to add the journaling - this is what he said - "I plan to play basketball, soccer, baseball, and football. I want to get good grades and am lookinf forward to the 5th grade. I want to keep playing the piano and am excited to start playing the drums. But most of all - I want to spend time with my family."

That made me cry - he is so sweet!

The Olympics...

I love the Olympics!! Wherther it is the summer games or the winter games!! There is nothing like cheering for the Americans!! Who are some of your favorites? I am cheering for Apollo & the speed skating team!!!

I am not very intereseted in the game, but I am watching it! Why you ask? For the commercials!!! We have a Tivo so we don't spend much time watching commercials - except for tonight!!!

Scrapping through the memories...

I am always amazed by how many pictures I take in the course of one year! Then to sit and scrap them - this is such a rewarding hobby. I am so glad that I am able to recreate the memories from the year in such a beautiful way!
