Four new paws...

We traveled to HUA (Hearts United for Animals) today hoping to find a new sweetheart to join our family. ODS and I saw her first, and fell madly in love with this little girl. The biggest test came when she had to meet Chewy and Gypsy. Needless to say the longer we sat and watched her interact with our other babies, the more we knew that she was the perfect little girl for our family. She came from a puppy mill in Missouri, and is a tad hesitant with "unfamiliars" - but she has learned quickly that McDonald's is good, stairs are weird, snow can be fun, and love can truly happen for puppy mill dogs. So, I bet you want to know her name? Say hello to Gigi, a sable colored Miniature Sheltie, weighing in at 15 pounds, and only 7 months old. Yes, she is a puppy - and we saw a few glimpses today of a very playful puppy (she just needs to learn trust - which is coming fast). She may even have a slight resemblance of one dear old friend.

How could we ever pass up a face like this?

More Basketball from the weekend

There sere more basketball games this last weekend, and both boys did a great job. YDS's game was first. He has really come far throughout this season, and I think he is gaining more confidence with every game.

ODS had a great game on Sunday. He made a couple of baskets, but he really shines on the defensive side of the ball. He didn't foul out, but he did have three fouls on the day - LOL!
