Busy month of June...

YDS spent much of the month of June playing baseball. He played second base this year, and did a great job with hitting the ball. I am always amazed at his natural talent for athletics, and proud to see how much he learns and grows through each season.





We also spent June together as a family. Summer is always a special time when we can get back to being a family and having fun. Chewy got a haircut, and yes ODS is finally taller than I am. (A fact of which he is very proud of.) Both boys had camps during the month of June; and although I missed them dearly, they had a great time.




At the end of June we had a family picnic at the farm. It is a great time to get away, do some fishing, and spend some time catching up with our extended family. YDS caught many fish, but he also caught a snapping turtle - which was a shocking experience for him.
